I haven't been very good about updating my blog...ugh.
The good news is I have a pretty good reason why: steady employment! The interview I had apparently went so well that I was offered a job the next day and I started two weeks later.
The job itself? I'm staying extremely busy, but I'm not sure if the job feels very rewarding. It may be the lack of personal connection I have at present. Maybe it's the lack of control over the environment. Or perhaps it's the complete lack of accolades and gratitude when I fix an obnoxious issue. In either case, even though the company is fantastic to its employees, I'm not sure I want to wait around to find out how well.
I have been following the BushCo./Katrina debacle closely. I have to believe that even if I hadn't met my husband and found the way to truth in politics (well, more truth than is currently being spewed from DC) with his help, I would have had the presence of mind to completely abhor the government. Perhaps getting away from the military propaganda machine was a big push in the right direction.
One can only hope and pray that the new-found ability to report truth does not escape our media. Bush is finally getting the coverage of truth and America is responding.
